Throughout the pandemic I have heard so many moms say, "If only I could get a moment of time to myself." Many would take a simple 20-minutes, if they could get it. This spring as we approach the one year mark of the Covid-19 pandemic, I have curated this new opportunity for moms to build endurance and resiliency.

 

The Mom Solo Retreat is an opportunity for you to hit the pause button on being responsible for everyone and everything at home. A time to step away from daily routines, decompress, and care for yourself with the gift of meaningful support along the way. It is more about supported solo time than joining a retreat schedule.

 

Curated for pandemic-weary moms, this solo retreat combines our signature private Pilates sessions, favored Bedtime meditation, with solo time, and a curated collection of meaningful resources. At the heart of this retreat is the flexibility for you to customize your own experience.

Meet Dannell

Dannell Shu deeply knows the unrelenting challenges moms face when living in a sustained pandemic. She experienced all of these and more over the seven years she led an in-home ICU to care for her child with medical complexities while also raising a younger sibling.

 

Throughout the Covid-19, pandemic she has been providing 1:1 support for moms who are in need of physical, mental, and soulful resiliency.

 

In this retreat, she gathers her experiences as a mother, Certified Pilates Trainer, event planner, spiritual mentor, and resiliency builder to curate a unique Moms' Solo Retreat experience.

Certified Pilates Trainer Dannell is known as a strategic educator who inspires women to live engaged lives through soulful resilience. She is an insightful listener and coach who motivates women to physically engage with clear and focused attention.

A Post-Birth Specialist, trained to work with post-birth moms, Dannell also has personal experience using Pilates for mending Diastasis Recti, post-birth recovery, bereavement, and more.

An Integrative Provider with Pregnancy and Postpartum Support MN (PPSM), Dannell is the first movement specialist to be included in this vetted list of providers who are trained to support moms with mental health needs

Veteran professional dancer, holding a BFA in Dance and a masters in Christian Worship Studies, Dannell also has expansive somatic movement training and a professional dance career spanning two decades.
