About the event

We are living in unprecedented times as the Covid-19 pandemic continues to cast its shadow of uncertainty over our daily rhythms. Already fatigued, many people are facing mounting challenges in life with themselves, their family, and their cherished community. Physical health, mental health, mounting stress, being stretched too thin, and tremendous amounts of loss. Layer into this the unexpected death of a loved one and the pain that follows. Life can become heavy with grief and uncertiainty.

All too easily our body, mind, and heart begin to operate in different time zones as we navigate (or avoid) the emotional terrain of all this heaviness.  The demands of life, work, family, and children easily push us to keep moving and brush aside our need for Jesus.

More than ever, it is important for us a heavy laden people to take moments to pause to allow Jesus to receive our burdens and so we can become more connected to the presence of the Holy Spirit. This session is a time to do this in a new way.

Using foundational Pilates principles, Certified Trainer Dannell Shu will guide us through a 30 minute meditation as we reconnect our body, mind and heart. This is time to pause the movements of life, reconnect with our breath, soak in the Word of God and allow the presence of Jesus to tend to our heavy burdens.
